简单介绍

ossila材料CzPA  的详细介绍

CzPA is a diphenylanthracene based host material with a carbazole side group. Anthracene based molecules are well known for their triplet-fusion delayed fluorescence and the electron rich carbazole is a great candidate as hole transport material. CzPA used as a host matrix is known for its suitable energy level and effective energy transfer to blue fluorescent emitters.

Being a triplet-triplet annihilation (TTA) upconversion material, CzPA can be used to regulate the triplet excitons. By the introduction of CzPA thin layer inn the middle of the doped layers of DMPPP and aggregation-induced emission (AIE) material iTPB-2AC to form the emissive layer, a maximum external quantum efficiency reached as high as 14.8% and is kept at 14.4% at the luminance of 1000 cd m-2.

Triplet-triplet annihilation (TTA) is an energy upconversion process in which two triplet excitons annihilate and produce a higher energy triplet or singlet exciton. In fluorescent molecules, TTA process leads to the formation of singlet excitons known as p-type delayed fluorescence. Via TTA process, triplets can generate singlets with a conversion efficiency close to 100%. Blue-emitting anthracene-based molecules such as 9,10-diphenylanthracene (DPA) are known to have delayed fluorescence due to triplet-triplet annihilation.
