The Metal Pin Lid performs the same as traditional plastic pin lids, however the higher quality aluminum material is more robust and more importantly reduces the likelihood of static electricity building up on the lid, as can be observed with plastic pin lids. The metal lid can more easily dissipate charge, reducing the likelihood of losing unclipped grids to your lid during sample preparation and handling. Works with the normal pin lid tools.
